Free Will

One way of practicing "Free Will" is to decide to do something new, and then to do it.

If you are wondering what "new" thing you might want to try, may I suggest trying out a meditation practice from Dr. Barbara Fredrickson's Positivity website.

Here are some other ideas to feed your imagination:

  • Viktor Frankl:  Why Believe in Others?  Youth Conference, Toronto, Canada, 1972.
  • Il y a des gens qui ont du coeur
  • Jessica's Daily Affirmation
  • Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi speaks on Flow
  • A six-year old girl tells the story of the Broadway musical, Kinky Boots.

Physiologically, we generate optimal health when we connect with the world outside of ourselves.  Dr. Barbara Fredrickson describes this in a new way. She calls it Love 2.0.  Here is one of her TED Talks in which she explains what she and her colleagues has found in clinical research.

Science

The Richard Feynman Lectures are a great way to learn the basics across the field of Physics.
